Advocates for disabled to protest "Tropic Thunder"
This is a story on Reuters Movie News. I haven't seen this film, Tropic Thunder, and I don't know if it really deserves protest or not but don't this advocates realize that are giving the film FREE PUBLICITY? Don't they understand that what the studio wants? Why do you think the studio isn't making changes? Do you think it's because they have integrity? IT'S HOLLYWOOD people. This is a town that was ready to burn all prints of Citizen Kane to make William Randolph Hearst happy. It's free advertising for the film! Every city they protest in will be featured on the news. It's a free commercial for the movie. Hell, even The Threshold of Pain is writing about it!
