Tom Brady Is Not Dead!

I thought I’d quickly point that out. As I watched the Bears-Colts game last night, I heard John Madden and Al Michaels tell us about how not only in Boston, but the whole country is devastated. If you watch sports on TV at all, from what they are saying, you’d think he had passed away. He did not.

Now I never like to see anybody get hurt but any person who is devastated over a ankle injury to a football player might want to check his or her priorities.

First I will point out that football is a violent game and anyone who choices to play it knows that any play on any day could be the one that knocks him out for a day, month, year or even lifetime. Last year when Kevin Everett of the Buffalo Bills got hurt last year so bad he almost died and then was thought to be paralyzed, that was devastating.

Look, Tom Brady will be fine. He will get the best care and doesn’t have to worry about earning a paycheck. Yes, it sucks for him because he really wanted to win another championship this year but he will be back next year, Even if he isn’t, I would bet setting down with all that money and three championship, he will be ok. For the people of Boston, the team that you enjoy watching on Sundays might not win a championship this year, but I bet you’ll be just fine, too.

Tom Brady is not Dead - Christophers fantasy team might be, however!
