A few points to add.
1. Isn't The Island of Misfit Toys just a Leper colony for toys?
2. Isn't the point of the story the freaks can only be accepted if they are needed?
3. What do you think would have happened if there hadn't been a horrible blizzard? I think Rudy would have turned to the bottle.
4. I thinks a sequel is needed in which Rudolph takes his revenge on all those who mocked him.
